The Lumen Rooflight
The Lumen rooflight provides the fine lines of steel whilst incorporating a genuine glazing bar. Designed to sit flush with the roofline, the very low profile complies with the standards required by conservation officers, The National Trust and English Heritage.

The CAST Conservation Rooflight
CAST Conservation Rooflights A genuine top hung rooflight cast with the fine detailing of a 19th Century original
using today’s advanced foundry techniques. Glazed with insulating glass units and coated with polyester powder paint, matt black as standard to "RAL 9005" and applied to EN ISO 9001.

A Masterpiece of engineering, that looks superb in any roof, manufactured to
BS1490 using particularly durable aluminium which is suitable for casting, possessing excellent ductility and
resistance to weathering.

Double glazed units manufactured to EN 1559-4 with 6.4mm laminated glass, with a 12mm black spacer bar and 4mm toughened outer pane, giving maximum safety, are glazed into the rebates and faced with Polysulphide Sealant to give the traditional appearance .
The opening light, with its sculptured Tee bar, is weatherstrip sealed against draughts, secured to the outer frame using A2 Grade Stainless Bolts and Nylock Nuts and opened with optional mechanisms. The outer frame has pre-drilled cast fixing lugs to accept the enclosed coach screws.
With its traditional appearance, the CAST rooflight can be used in all types of roof and is recommended for use on Historic buildings by Conservation Officers, Architects and English Heritage.

Winders and Opening Mechanism
Rooflight Crank Handles
A telescopic spindle available in brass or chrome finishes. Hand winders for easy to reach rooflight situations or pole winders for use with our brass winding crank in non-reachable rooflight positions. Please specify which option you require at point of order. 300mm when fully extended and shorter 150mm winders are available on request.
Rooflight Crank Handles
Brass Winding Cranks Available in 1.0m - 1.5m or a telescopic 3m as optional extras. Winding Cranks are for rooflights that will be situated in high, non reachable places and are for use with the Pole Winders only.

Recommended roof pitch for all 6 rooflights is between 20º and 70º. For weatherproofing use a code 5, 12" Lead Flashing available at most builders merchants and DIY stores. Lead Flashing is not supplied with the CAST rooflight in order to keep delivery charges, based on weight, at a minimum

 
Pre fitted timber liner is currently unavailable for the side hung rooflight at this time. Were blind is fitted on escape rooflight please ensure that you are familiar with the quick release clips on the bottom rail.
