The
CAST rooflight - for yesterday's, today's and tomorrow's roof
A
low profile cast rooflight made to a 19th Century pattern, polyester powder
coated and double glazed, standard sizes available from stock. Regularly
specified for buildings of historic interest.
A genuine top hung rooflight cast with
the fine detailing of a 19th century original using today's advanced foundry,
insulating glass and polyester paint finishing techniques.
A masterpiece of engineering, that looks
superb in any roof, manufactured to BS1490 using particularly durable
aluminium which is suitable for intricate castings, possessing excellent
ductility and resistance to weathering.

Pole Winder
|
Double Glazed Units manufactured
to BS5713 with a 6.4mm Laminated Inner Pane and 4mm Toughened Outer Pane,
giving maximum safety, are glazed into the rebates and faced with Polysulphide
Sealant to give the traditional appearance.

Hand Winder |
|
The opening light with its sculptured Tee bar is weatherstrip
sealed against draughts, secured to the outer frame using A2 Grade Stainless
Steel Bolts and Nylock Nuts and opened with a Brass Hand Winder as standard.
the outer frame has pre-drilled cast fixing lugs to accept the coach screws
and washers.
With its traditional appearance the CAST
rooflight can be used on all types of roof and is recommended for use
on Historic buildings by conservation Officers, Architects and English
Heritage. Polyester powder paint is applied to BS6496 & BS6497 and
provides the finish in Matt Black as standard. Numerous other colours
are available.

| The
CAST Side-Hung/Escape Rooflight |
|
| The side hung/escape
rooflight is the newest addition to the CAST rooflight range,
offering the fine detailing oa a 19th Century original including
the sculpted Tee bar. As with all of the CAST rooflght range,
the side hung/escape version comes with double glass units with
a 6.4mm laminated inner pane and 4mm toughened outer pane, polyester
powder paint finish (matt black as standard) and is weatherstrip
sealed against draughts.
Whilst maintaining it
low-profile design, the side hung/escape rooflight offers a
clear opening width of 685mm and a clear opening length of 1030mm
and is in compliance with Building Regulations sizes of 500mm
x 850mm clear. It has side located hinges ad 2 gas struts working
with the winding handle for ease of opening for both ventilation
and emergency
